Exit 5, go to the left, along all the fish market and turn to the left again - Zhenru Temple. Great beautiful place!

Years ago Zhenru was a town in its own right to Shanghai's northwest. Today's cobbled Main Street still feels like "downtown Zhenru".

The temple dates from the Song Dynasty, but it's now mostly new. But in the main pavilion can be seen some Yuan Dynasty woodwork. Look up!
